Abstract
This study started in May 2002. The database files, HTML files, Cold Fusion scripts, and other related files of the Aquaculture CRSP database residing on the server at the Department of Bioengineering at Oregon State University have been successfully transferred to servers at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Different files, the web server, and the Cold Fusion server have been configured, and the database is operational. The web-based database has been established and published at <www.aqua-information.ait.ac.th/crspdb>. Several international and regional institutions such as Asian Fisheries Society, ICLARM and NACA have been contacted for linking to the CRSP database from their websites. Upon receiving outstanding datasets, the CRSP database will be finalized. Then a zip disk backup of the final version will be created, and CDs of the database will be made and distributed.
