Marine Harvest Ltd is currently seeking a highly motivated and strong individual for the post of Trainee Manager based at the Company’s Freshwater site, Finfish, near Inverpolly. Applications are invited from individuals who are genuinely interested in developing their career within the organisation. Potential candidates should have at least two to three years practical knowledge and experience of fish farming. Initiative, the ability to manage and motivate staff, good planning, organisation & computer skills and a proven ability to achieve results without close supervision are some of the necessary skills required for this post. The successful candidate will be expected to train initially at the Company’s site at Finfish with the potential to move to a promoted position within the Freshwater operation. In addition they will be expected to attend the necessary training courses to gain sufficient knowledge on feed & stock management, grading planning, asset management, performance and HSEQ management.
