2009 AWGRA, GIS & Water Resources Call for Abstracts
AWRA
Orlando/FLUSA

March 29-31, 2010 Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become a fundamental tool for the analysis, planning and management of environmental and water resources systems. This Specialty Conference continues the AWRA biennial tradition of surveying the state of knowledge in the field, following the 2004 conference in Nashville, 2006 conference in Houston and 2008 conference in San Mateo. Because of its interdisciplinary approach to water resource opportunities and problems, AWRA provides an excellent professional home for the most comprehensive forum on the application of GIS to water resources engineering and sciences. A processing fee of $25 will be charged for each abstract submitted payable upon submission of the abstract. The fee is non-refundable and will not be credited toward the cost of the presenter's conference registration fee. Abstracts are being sought for oral presentations, panels and posters covering a wide range of topics. The quality of the submitted abstract will be viewed as an indication of the quality of the presentation. Previous performance or failure to give timely notification of cancellation at previous annual and specialty conferences may influence the decision for acceptance. Abstracts must be received via the website on or before October 9, 2009. http://www.awra.org/meetings/Florida2010/abstracts.html
